Well, like ive promised, since min min has sent me the class cip pics, i shall upload them! :)
We had such a rollicking good time by the pool side and in the pool!
And, for once, i agree with elwin that kiddywinks are such MONSTERS! They threw balls at us, they dunked us, they pulled our hair etc..
All of us were horribly sun-burnt after such an eventful day because we(i) forgot to bring along sunblock lotion..LIKE HOW STUPID IS THAT???!!! and sarah brought along tanning lotion which was no help to those who wished to preserve their fair complexion.
hmmm.had loads of fun! but it was a lil tiring cuz after a whole day of cip (5.30am-7pm), we had GO GREEN DAY the next day... collecting old clothes and newspapers. my muscles were aching..my shoulders hurt..the bottomline is to never do 2 consecutive days of cip..u'll probably kill yourself.
schooldays after that werent all that boring. cuz we were anticipating the arrival of thursday (31st Jan). u'll probably be thinking why..cuz thursdays arent that enjoyable since we are all running out of steam after 4 days of school...
but that thursday was SPECIAL cuz SWITCHFOOT INVADED OUR SCHOOL!

at first i was like wondering why they picked tjc out of the other schools to invade, but i heard that it was because 150 tjc-ians bought tickets to catch switchfoot @ the max pavillion that night and they wanted to show their appreciation for our support of their concert.
we were all dizzy with excitement and happiness until mr aziz announced during morning assembly that only the j1s could attend the "mini" concert at the audi..and ALL THE J2s BOOED HIM. the j1s are like so clueless..i bet they dont even know that switchfoot existed.
thursday arrived. AND WE WENT TO WATCH SWITCHFOOT. damn the j1s were so stuupid. it's like a rock concert for god's sake. they shouldnt be sitting but they sat. they should be on their feet, rocking to the music. i was like WTF when i entered the audi. they were all sitting stiffly in their seats and i heard some complaining that it wasnt music but noise. i was super pissed off.i mean.. they had to wait for the DJs to ask them to stand, then they stand. WTH!!! how embarrassing.
local rock bands caracal and west grand boulevard played first. preferred west grand boulevard's music. not to mention west grand boulevard's lead singer is a HOTTIE!
switchfoot came on after that and we sang along to the acoustic versions of Meant to Live, Dare you to move and Only Hope! :)

"And the School Invasion Tour kicked off on the same day in the morning as well. We headed down to Temasek Junior College with Caracal and i have to say school kids are awesome. The crowd couldnt stop screaming and shouting and we had a LOT of fun i must say especially with the Caracal boys. The Switchfoot guys also came down and Jon did a solo acoustic set with 3 songs and shit man the guy can sing. Seriously. The band was really friendly and had no airs around them at all. Infact they were by the side of the stage all the way from Caracal's to our set watching us rock out like monkeys. How awesome is that."*** GO CHECK OUT WGB's music! it's awesome!
then after the concert, we ventured out and hopped onto the "nokia's bus" to grab freebies and download music for free! also, we got cornered by some reporters from some online publication to do a video interview! it was hilarious! we were screaming and shouting! "WE LOVE YOU SWITCHFOOT!" OMG!
THE BEST PART WAS THAT WE GOT TO TAKE A PICTURE WITH WEST GRAND BOULEVARD'S LEAD SINGER! XD *zsa hasnt sent us the pic yet..
had oodles of fun this week. hope next week will be great too!
