DUDES OUT THERE! REJOICE! IT'S GONNA BE A LONG WEEKEND!
im so happy that national day falls exactly on a thursday!
THURSDAY <-- my most HATED day of the week! can u imagine 2 periods with TSAI, 2 periods of GP and non-stop lessons till 4pm?!
tuesday was surprisingly quite an exciting day (excluding the 2 hrs which was spent on A level bio spa which kinda went reasonably well, i guess)
i intended to pon chemistry remedial. but of course i didnt in the end.and at least i did learn SOMETHING from it.
went to the library after that to look for jenna.
the library is the only facility in tjc which is not liable to collapse any moment bcuz it's less than a year old.
it has 3 levels.
and i took me quite a while to spot jenna cuz the library was PACKED.
so sat down for an hour trying to study chem and helping li ling and jenna with math.
at 4pm, we left for the mozart room.
it's really amazing how guitar ensemble resembles a BIG family.
we all squeezed into the acoustic guitar room, chatting, laughing and joking.
until someone(i forgot who) asked the mary poppins group to rehearse outside, leaving the menuet group (which im in) inside the room to enjoy AIR-CON!
but eventually, the marry poppins group crammed themselves into the mozart room instead.
at 5.10pm, we went to the audi for a final rehearsal before the actual investiture.
eugene ended in loads of last-minute dynamics and we had to practise A LOT!
went out to buy take-aways with sheryn and li ling at 6.45pm.
ate at the table under LT2 with kathleen, hui shian, shuming aka xiaoming, sheryn, eugene, li ling and xinling
after that, we went up to level 3 to practise again.
HAHA! practise this time was super funny.
eugene was like kinda pissed off with ppl who forgot that we had to retard at bars 4,12 and the last bar but he decided to make a joke out of it and asked us all to repeat 10 times "there are 3 hanging notes in this piece."
in the end, we all burst out laughing and ended up only reciting that phrase twice.
jeffery came over to watch and gave us some advice.
soon it was time to perform, and we did well! XD
it was already 8.30pm then.
so we walked back all the way to the mozart room.
and guess who i saw lurking around in school at such a late hour?! trinity teo jia wei!
tsk tsk.
took our belongings and left our guitars in the cupboards.
exco had to stay back to rehearse for the ndp performance the next day.
went with shuming to the audi to watch the remaining parts of the investiture.
then went home to do EOM.
HAHA!
ndp performance yesterday was nice.
haha.
concert was quite a blast! but i still miss mass though.
ndp celebrations doesnt seem at all the same without mass.
the drama club perf was hilarious.
guitar perf was great!
and the best part was...they ended off the celebrations with mass dance!
haha.
was dancing and laughing all the way... :)
it's only during these special moments that i really feel blessed to be in tjc...
