Today can be summed up in ONE word -- Gloomy
my happy-go-lucky nature wasnt at its best today.
my spirits wont perked up.
i was trying probably TOO hard to cheer myself up.
i dont know whether these are the after-effects of MONDAY BLUES.
but, wadever. (gives a dismissive shrug)
i guess my mood was spoilt ever since Chelsea drew 1-1 with Newcastle.
I was tossing and turning in bed, thinking how nice it would have been if the gap had been narrowed down to 1.
but i guess things didnt work out the way i wanted it to be.
resigned to that horrible "hopes being dashed" kinda feeling.
stoning in the morning didnt help.
math tutorial was mind-boggling. I HATE FUNCTIONS.
and i was really pissed off when i heard *** celebrating the fact that chelsea drew.
it was akin to rubbing salt to an already sore wound.
lecture was a disaster. "benzene" is a seriously monotonous person.
break was a rejuvenation period.
listened to recounts of sherminn's ill treatment of her bro.
let me recount what happened during geog lecture which got adele laughing and me seething.
**scene: mr elwin teaching about the internal migration in the UK. a map of england was shown on the board.
mr elwin, points to newcastle: "most of the people here, move to the south for more job opportunities. By the way, congratulations to Newcastle United for holding Chelsea to a draw yesterday."
Me, drops pen on the floor, in a state of shock, hand slamming the lecture table in disbelief that Mr elwin actually said that, starts cursing under my breath, jian hui and adele look at me as if i have gone bonkers.
Me, finally regained my composure, and started explaining to adele what had happened, she couldnt stop laughing.
Mr Elwin, circles Manchester, Liverpool and Leeds: " these are the areas that are experiencing decrease in population sizes because ppl again are moving towards london. Anyway, these areas produce football clubs (referring to Man Utd, Liverpool) that have great skills, Unlike Chelsea and Arsenal which play crappy football."
Me,stares with mouth agape at mr elwin, starts cursing and swearing again, and was totally pissed off.
adele was laughing once again.
I MEAN, HOW CAN THE PERSON WHO I RESPECT THE MOST BLATANTLY INSULT MY 2 FAVOURITE CLUBS?
the whole day was spoilt, i guess, after that incident.i was hurt, angry, and totally depressed.
my depression and hurt didnt all originate from the football perspective though
i was experiencing an emotional upheaval today.
i dont know what's happening to me.
im just like regreting all my actions.
sticking in the science stream, sticking in tj....
i find that im changing to a totally new person, a person that masks her feelings.
sometimes i pretend that everything is fine, when everything isnt.
sometimes i joke and play around with u, but i dont really want to.
sometimes i pretend that i like something, but deep down inside, i dont but i have to accept it because im stuck to it.
sometimes i wish that things would work out, but its just a naive thinking on my part.
sometimes i wish i hadnt met u, because of ur appearance, im going through hell.
sometimes i wish that things would go back the way it was before, but im totally thinking of the impossible.
sometimes i question my actions, my thoughts, my words and begin to doubt myself.
from tomorrow onwards, i guess i'll revert back to my old self.
i shall ignore U.
i shall pretend tt U are non-existent.
i think i shall follow marie and go all out for GIRL POWER!
