Orientation @ tjc//Bond 007Day 1gotta admit i was really freaked out. everyone had friends around to chatter with and i suddenly missed those times when i came to sch really early and porsi was there (haha!) n we would hear our mp3 players. so i was relatively alone until the indons came. we checked our OGs (orientation groups) and as xpected we were all in different OGs. i was nervous again when we went into the auditorium and i spotted OG6 (which is my OG btw). Junxiang came up to me first and intro-ed himself and Gordon as the metrosexual guy (haha!) which caused Gordon to roll his eyes. took attendence and collected $ for the O packs.Principal's speech was B-O-R-I-N-G. my butt was aching real badly. then we had a subject combi talk and i gather that Mrs Kang (our math HOD) is really nice and popular bcuz our OGLs or rather seniors love her. BOND 007 began! the OGLs and councillors went REALLY HIGH! the whole audi was shaking due to the stomping n stamping. J1s were quite taken back bcuz they were REALLY ENTHU.they cheered a whole range of cheers. intro-ed our 4 house captains.Arief--Orexus (wooohooo!!!!! im in Orexus!)Kheng Mun-Nyrha (funny dude..super hilarious)Shake-- Doogashaga ???? (forgot his name)-- Blazon.cheers were taught.couldnt catch it at first but with the help of our OGLs, we are now real fluent with the cheers.Watched a video (which was SMASHING AWESOME bcuz of the visual effects)Video summary:James Bond has been kidnapped by the evil Dr TNT who has developed a new sattellite (apocalypse) which would destroy TJ island. 2 secret agents (arief and the blazon guy) plus a wizard (kheng mun) and a tribal king (shake) were called by stephy bond (james bond's daughter) to track down her father.**the video was very funny XD. arief exclaimed in disbelief "Work with this Harry Potter?!" (points to kheng mun)our vice principal came on stage with his guitar to teach us how to sing the college anthem.dismissed to have OG bonding time with our own OGs. everyone intro-ed themselves and sadly i cant rmb the guys' names very well. always get mixed up. haha. played double wacko and yumei was my "protecter". both of us were so glad that we had chinese names as everyone only rmbed english names. (haha!) there were 2 rachels and 2 jonathans in our OG which consists of 50 plus ppl. HAHA.our OGLs are really nice....as in super duper nice....... :)went to have lunch.went to hall to have mass dance. learned Dhoom which was a couple dance. danced with yung berg (ice berg!) both of us kept on laufing cuz we cant catch up and invented new dance steps. played college trivia! going around school to solve questions pertaining our school and cheering at each stations to earn MAX points.went home at 6.30pm.Day 2headed down to audi to take attendence. started the day with cheers from the 4 clans. did the TJ wave. did the TJ cheer.had the temasek amazing race briefing.after tt..the race started.travelled around marine parade, east coast and parkway parade.1st station-- had to do 20 star jumps, squat-walk around the whole open area while cheering and guys had to leave the station with lipstick. (too bad lor the lipstick not BRIGHT RED!) the guys were like wondering why girls want to wear lipstick cuz they tasted the lipstick and found it sticky and disgusting. HAHA!!!2nd station-- marine parade library. played the passing stone game. and cheered a silent cheer cuz we were right in front of the library.3rd station-- at the canal behind VJC. VJ was having their orientation at their track and we were like only seperated from them by a fence lined with tall shrubs. played a game where the guys had to lie on each other's stomach and had to flex their stomach muscles the number of times the station master chooses. the girls did the same seperately. WAS SUPER HILARIOUS. cuz wen we laugh our stomach naturally bounces......so everyone's heads bob-ed.cheered a LOUD TJ cheer....some VJC-ians heard it i think. cuz there were mutterings coming from the VJC-ians.***this part was REAL funny. we were walking to our 3rd station and were trying to spot the station masters. tze woon (our OGL) saw a person opposite and thought it was our station master. i saed tt it was just an old man fishing and tze woon saed "no la, got ppl la, behind the old man!" and calcy (our other OGL) was like super FREAKED OUT coz she thought tt we were seeing ghosts. -_-" 4th station--EAST COAST BEACH. Joshua sacrificed himself to let the clan earn max points (HOORAY JOSHUA!) :) he floated in the sea while we built a sandcastle on his stomach...after we finished we posed for a picture. and joshua flung himself into the sea to bathe. haha!!!5th station-- the lagoon food centre. everyone had to cross a "river" using only a pair of shoes. 6th station-- went to parkway macs. our station masters were 2 teachers. our mission was to break our group into groups of 4 and to take photos with a small child. i, yumei and joscelyn and rachel took a pic with a angmoh girl and her father. :)had lunch (macs).went to our bonus station. which was to play pool!!!!cool sia....but i cant play for nuts.....went in just to watch soccer...jonathan and i were watching soccer while the others were playing.went back to TJC.had mass dance practice....learnt 4 dances!!!!!!!!!!!! WHOOOOOOOOOH had OG performance brainstorming.wanted to rap college anthem but then lame ideas started pouring in.........shant tell u abt it cuz it's SUPER DUPER XXXX LAME just a rough idea.... 3 coconut trees.....pole dancing....beatboxing (mervyn ROX!!!)got our O packs.went homeDay 3talk on college ethos by mr tong (our discipline master)..our OGLs aka seniors are really scared of himhahaHAD CHEERING SESSION..YEAH OREXUS RAWK!!shabuya shabuya roll call.........we are orexus.....and we are hot and wen we shake it.....the guys say bring it on...shabuya shabuya roll call.........orexus RARR RARR RARR!!!GAMES WAS SO FUN...GOT A LIL WET.........played CATERPILLAR.......became a FLOURY SPECIMEN.....and we WON ALL THE GAMES.........YEAH OG6 RAWKS....at the snake game.......the opponents' gave up halfway but we did not gave up and SUCCEEDED!!!OG6 khermama...ole ole ah ah.........ppl say we are the best...who say you say i say...ppl say we number 2....we say they dan gu guy (wait long long)...who say you say i say....ppl say they want to win...we say they rubbish bin...who say you say i say.........OREXUS!!!!!!!!!!!had chicken rice for lunch...the perf rehersal was like so screwed up.......haha....it was like a mixture of ideas thrown in...acting gay (ashwin and co... were like super gay!!!) ....singing fort minor's song....sang college anthem to the tune of friendship song...sang barney song (blue dinosaur instead of purple)we din get in and our OG was like SO HAPPY cuz we could go out tmr instead of rehersing..:)folded cranes..as usual my oragamy skills sucked!!! and adeline called me a slacker cuzed i decided not to fold to save paper.....hahawent out to dinner...the CHAR KUAY TEOW WAS DELICIOUS!!!!!!!!!!!our whole OG which had 50 plus ppl took bus and mrt to suntec city for mass danceeveryone was lyk looking at us.......cuz we were such a BIG GROUP and we MADE A LOT OF NOISE.......can u believe taking pics in the MRT and telling LAME JOKES ON THE MRT. we were L-O-U-D.reached suntec........WAS SO FUN...............TJC RAKWS MAN!!!everyone was dancing like mad and fun dance was the cutest!!! :)eventhough it rained.......we still carried on...running around in circles round the fountain of wealth.......the councillors and OGLS stood on the steps and we hi-5ed them everytime we passed....did the too-too-train....was drenched....:) but enjoyed every minute of itDay 4reached school at 4pm.signed thank you cards to be given to our OGLS. (they RAWK!!)beverly (OGL) is SO BIMBOTIC...she reminds me of LULUpractised dancing retarded (tze woon and beverly are SO PATIENT)bOND 007 nightHAD SO MUCH FUN AND LUAGHTEReach clan performed....had song and dance...had pageant..etc...etc...partyed...mass-danced...till 10.30pmtossed beverly, calcy, ashwin etc...OG6 did cheers togetherthrew callum light sticks all around the hallwent home at 10.30pm!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!TJC RAWKS//OG6 RAWKS//OREXUS RAWKS!!i *heart* TJC. the TJ spirit man!!!thunder thunderation we temasek delegation,when we cheer with determination we create a sensation.......TJ IS THE BEST!!!:)
