Surprisingly my prelim results are not too bad.
Although the effort that i put in was a mere 50%, i guess that 50% did indeed paid off.
Considering the fact that i was still watching soccer and studying half-heartedly, i guess i deserved to get what i got.
But, nevertheless im still happy. XD

ss/lit was a major surprise, deed it was.
i'm so glad that my parents are so supportive of me going to ACJC
it's only my siblings that are all yakking at me to go to at least a top 5 JC
*rolls eyes*
Firstly, i never wanted to go to a JC which has the Stupid Unproductive integrated programme
Who wants to be a second-class citizen?
Secondly, they are way out of my league.
Thirdly, I want to go to a JC that i like.
Who goes to these JCs on the basis that my siblings, plus my sis-in-law all hail from the top 3 JCs, and i have to match up to their standard just to prove that the intelligence quotient did not degenerate as it runs down the family.

that's the reason why i hate/detest/abhor elder siblings that are TOO SMART.
the benchmark they set are like WHOAH
Yeah i know they dote on me, so they want the best for me
so i guess i shall be appreciative

let's focus on the fact that we'll be leaving school soon.
Last week of school and sayonara IJ.

retreat was held last friday.
And yes, Ms Chia Soon-Li was moved to tears by Shona Woo.
It's the first time i actually cried in school.
And it was so comical when the 5 of us (mich,jiasai, shona, porsi and me) went to cleanse our hands because we actually flicked water at each other which was so unholy.
oh yeah, i remember that father simon said that we should go up to a person and ask for forgiveness if we had done something wrong.
It doesnt takes much sense to know that ms chia doesnt have guts
so instead of going up to that person
i'll say sorry to her here.

To Lim Hui Ting,seriously, i dont know why we started not talking to each other.but i know it's my fault for being petty.i'm so sorry.you will be and forever be my dearest friend/pal/buddy.because it's all thanks to you that my crazy and lame side was liberated.the times we spent together in secondary 1 and 2 were the most memorableand i thank you for giving me those sweet memories.so yehh. guess i finally said it.

porsi one was the shortest.

it's so sad leaving IJ
but it's time to move on.
Im so going to CHEONG for O levels..

Exams are over, relief rushes over me for a split second, before comprehension about what is about to take place next week scares the hell out of me again.
Isnt this a vicious cycle of stress?
We, students undergo this torment everyday, to be exact, our whole life, even as we head on to adult life and into the working world.
Can we ever shake it off?
No.
I just dont understand singapore
they oppress people who write comments of a political agenda yet they do not censure comments that are outright deflamatory towards others, even a school with an illustrious history and a prestigious background.
I admit we ij girls are outspoken, wear our belts on our hips and wear low socks, but doesnt other schools like the MUCH LOVED RGS do that too?
Why purposely, with no good intentions whatsoever, put IJ under "I" in the Singapore encyclopedia and publicly disgrace us in this way by announcing to the whole of singapore and the IMF delegates that we, ij girls, are EASY ON THE OPPOSITE SEX???!!!
IJ girls have boyfriends, so do RGS girls and SCGS girls. Public signs of affection of schoolgirls towards their partners and to the opposite sex can be spotted everywhere around in
singapore but do these girls all wear the IJ uniform???
They describe us like whores and like disgusting, flirtatious girls who are easy to get laid. WHAT RIGHT DO THEY HAVE TO MORALLY WRONG US IN THIS WAY?
Why cant that person writing that comment put himself into the shoes of the parents or even the schoolgirls when he wrote that book. How would he feel as a parent should he chance upon this article who claims that his daughter was easy on the opposite sex? Anger?
Even publishing the singapore encyclopedia is the stupidest idea ever thought of.

Honestly i feel a sense of attatchment to IJ, it's the school i've been studying in for the past 10 years, it's hard not to feel something for a school that formed much of my adolesence. I would even find it weird when i dont wear my ij uniform next year onwards anymore. It's the only uniform i ever worn.
Hence when people verbally or literally attack ij, it's only right for Ijians to speak up, because we are the ones wearing the uniform, the ones having to put up with the notorious reputation our school seems to be having.Why shouldnt we defend our school?
It's sad that only ex-ij girls are the only ones defending our school

I watched Steve Irwin's funeral today.
Felt an overwhelming sense of sadness.
I am so used to seeing him on my television screen.
I did cry when i saw and heard Bindi reading a speech for her dad.
shes only 8
yet she was so strong. she didnt even cry
she was smiling so radiantly and said that she would carry on her father's conservation work
i swear i would visit the australian zoo one day
ah goon seems to be lamenting today
but that's only natural
the world is shrouded by unhappiness, unsureness.
surely some of it would affect me.

Another thing tt got me super happy is tt GERMANY WON IRELAND 1-0
i know the scoreline aint tt fantastic
but wif PER MERTESACKER and CHRISTOPH METZELDER which i can assure u are the best central defenders EVER, injured, germany had to play more defensive dan attacking football
